remember tumblarity? once tumblr dies maybe then I’ll get my shit 2gether y’now
i missed tumblarity for a long time when it left. it was kind of a fun competition thing and it was easier to find blogs with certain subject matter. but the biggest tumblr feature i miss was the map where you could find people close by. but now with so many i guess it would be hard to find people.
these days, though, everything feels like a fucking pissing contest even without it. people latching onto each other’s jokes and opinions trying to say “THIS” or some more complex variation.

i just feel like i need to say it because i’m sure everyone is going to throw in their ten cents about it but i don’t really care that much about tumblr getting bought by yahoo. i feel like tumblr has become too bloated for its own good and lately most people just yell at each other or try and justify that their opinion is more right and better than everyone else’s.
i doubt anyone who has been on here for more than a few years can deny that tumblr has gotten considerably less “chill”. maybe there’s just more social justice bloggers in the world but i used to love spending all my time on here looking at weird and stupid fun shit. obviously that stuff is still on here but damn. if this yahoo acquisition meant tumblr would be “less cool” then in my opinion that isn’t a terrible thing.
whatever. i don’t even own a smartphone so maybe i am just an old internet geezer.
